Gunnar Nyland is quickly becoming one my favourite Scandinavian designers. He worked as artistic director for Rörstrand where he became well known for his innovation in stoneware glazes. His oeuvre of work is quite diverse ranging from folkloric to contemporary, all in keeping with a simple and elegant aesthetic.
